@Are you serious
I don't think they'll ever come out with a Spanish NWT at least not now, slimboyfat has covered how expensive it is to mass produce bibles
this just in from the 2017 annual meeting:.
1. watchtowers and awakes won't be released regularly, at least three watchtower and awakes per year.
6 magazines a year.. 2. a new book is being released: remain in god's love, more of an update like how they did for the what does the bible really teach book.

3. Study Watchtowers will now be simplified or rather be in a simple language in two years from now.
So far I believe that's the new things going on at the moment.
i was withh a friend of mine who is a jw still and for whatever reason we started talking the bible.
i asked him about lazarus and how is that when he died he paid the price of sin, but then jesus resurrected him.
and i asked him "where is lazarus today?

@Wake Me Up
Yeah waton did bring up an interesting point, I've never seen those photos before, thanks for sharing
https://www.openmindsfoundation.org/loving-memory-laura-ann-gracey-father-remembers/.
the death toll from watchtower increases with the latest suicide report of laura ann gracey.
here, her father recounts the events leading up to his daughter's taking of her own life - undoubtedly starting with her indoctrination from birth into this stifling, doomsday cult.. i see many similarities to myself as laura.
Amazing thread Wake Me Up, a few years ago I knew of a single sister who was a mother with children and this elder would be a bit flirtatious with many sisters, including her. It's very sad because this sister seemed to have had other emotional struggles as well and sadly took her own life. Now I'm not saying that this elder is the reason why she took her own life but is it possible that whatever occurred between them contributed to the decision she made?
Its very sad and it makes it worse when I've read and heard other stories of how people have taken their lives, whether they were disfellowshipped and being shunned by their family or any other circumstance.

@stuckinarut2
I feel like the JW justification would be "Well, the land had to be spread, Moab and Ammon had to be created somehow"
@My Name Is of No Consequence
I'm also curious to see what the JW response would be to that

@Giles Gray
Completely forgot about that! I mention it the next time I ask this question to a JW, thank you for thag

Well see that makes more sense, thank you actually

I was withh a friend of mine who is a JW still and for whatever reason we started talking the Bible. I asked him about Lazarus and how is that when he died he paid the price of sin, but then Jesus resurrected him. And I asked him "Where is Lazarus today? Shouldn't he be with us? He paid the price of sin, he has no debt to pay" and my friend thought for a moment and he reasoned:
"Yeah but Jesus resurrected him to show people around that time and us today reading the Bible, what he can do and what he will do. When he resurrected Lazarus, he was still an imperfect man, so he still was imperfect and would die again."
He still couldn't not answer why though, if Lazarus paid the price of sin. It seems honestly like he was struggling to come to the conclusion he came to.
Another topic we spoke about was the Nephilim and I explained to him how it couldn't be possible, for me anyways, for angels (spiritual superior beings) to find attractiveness and lust in humans because those are human traits. I even explained to him, that it's like a person who feels lust for an animal. I told him that I was always under the impression that angels were all powerful and perfect, that Jehovah had created them.
He reasoned that Satan had corrupted them but when he said that I started thinking to myself, were the angels that easily corruptible?
Anyway, I left it like that but whenever I can I like to engage in little biblical discussions like this with other JWs. Thoughts?
